I am currently a Software Field Operations Engineer at 10x Genomics in Pleasanton, CA where I provide bioinformatics software support to customers using single-cell gene expression, immune profiling, CNV, and ATAC product solutions.

In 2019, I earned my Ph.D. from the Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology (MCIP) graduate group at UC Davis, where I was co-advised by Dr. C. Titus Brown and Dr. Andrew Whitehead. My research interests are broadly related to standardization of bioinformatics analyses across large-scale analyses including multiple species. As Next-Generation Sequencing is rapidly changing subdisciplines within the biological sciences, I'm also passionate about providing data science skills training for biologists so that discoveries can be proportional to the data collected.
